Your chosen menu will be freshly prepared in our 5-star hygiene rated kitchen. Meals are transported in our refrigerated vans to your selected venue, where our team will set up and serve your food.

Discreet and attentive servers will ensure food and drinks are served with care, allowing you and your guests to focus on each other.

Afterwards, we’ll take care of the washing up and pack any leftovers into recyclable boxes for you to enjoy later or share with family and friends.

The process from start to finish

  • 1. Contact Us

    The most efficient way to start the process is to contact us by telephone if you feel you are able to, otherwise an email is sufficient. Rest assured we like to keep things simple and stress-free

  • 2. Quotation

    We are able to advise over the phone costings and will follow this through with a written quotation including menus via email the same day

  • 3. Arrangements

    Once you have chosen your menu we then take care of everything for you including liaising/
    booking your venue, ordering any flowers, alcohol or extras you have chosen

  • 4. On the day

    We will set up your funeral wake as discussed in advance.

Funeral Catering FAQs

Each event will be very different. Our services are charged at a “per head” rate with VAT charged at 20%. Every menu includes uniformed waiting staff to set up, serve and clear away. Unlimited tea & coffee with white classic tea plates, cups, saucers and white napkins. Table linen, glassware, floral arrangements are all additional costs and will be clearly stated on your quotation. If you have a budget in mind and would like to share that with us we can create a menu with the best options available.

You may decide to host a funeral wake in your family home, at the church where you hold the ceremony or in a local village hall (Which we can recommend, arrange and book for you). Perhaps you are looking for a venue near to Yeovil Crematorium , Mendip Crematorium or Haycombe Crematorium we have a list of venues we can advise.

This is the impossible question that everyone asks. It is so difficult to predict but we do have some guidance that we can discuss with you as there are lots of varying factors.

We will happily discuss the options available to ease your concerns. It goes without saying we always bring extra cups, saucers and plates.

This is a matter of personal preference and there is no right or wrong. As licensed caterers we can take care of providing and serving alcohol for you and have a list available upon request.

We always include unlimited tea and coffee at a served funeral event.

Should you wish for us to deliver the food, we will deliver at an agreed time to your chosen venue. All of our food will be delivered chilled in recyclable packaging. This is black platters with clear lids and white cardboard boxes with window lids. All food is labelled in line with food safety guidelines. We will of course lay the food out for you as a buffet.

We will ask all the questions we need to know but it would be worth considering if there is anyone amongst your family and friends who has a specific dietary need/ vegetarian or vegan so that they can be catered for.

We are an independent family run business. Louise & Alice (Partners & sisters) will take care of you from the very start. Our mum, Mary works full time for the business and is as passionate about service as we are. Our reputation speaks before us, we have spent time alone in many private homes setting up for a funeral wake and it is important that you feel at ease with the caterer you use and trust. We do not want you to have to organise anything which is why our packages are tailored to include everything.

We are passionate to support local businesses and more importantly local produce. This is a difficult time for you, it is important that we lessen the load and you take time to care for yourself.

We are so grateful for the care and professionalism shown on such a difficult day. The food was excellent, fresh, beautifully presented, and widely praised by our guests. The staff were equally outstanding, working quietly with kindness and respect, making everything run smoothly.
